My background has mainly been within the public sector in a supportive capacity. For several years I helped teenagers and adults into sustainable work. Teaching life skills and providing support for Students in Colleges. I wanted to take a step further in terms of being able to help and support people, so tackled Psychotherapy training aswell as Holistic Therapy, as I wanted to be able to treat the body and mind as a whole.

I am happy to say I have been a qualified Massage Therapist for over 6 years and have enjoyed every moment of trying to build a sustainable business. After 2 years of Psychotherapy training I have put it on hold to focus solely on the massage. I am sure its something I will pick up again, as I am very intrigued in combining Psychotherapy with Buddhism. There are lots of crossovers and similarities between them both so it would really create effective therapy if they were combined. I'm also intrigued in how we hold trauma related incidences in our body and how it can manifest into illness. I have alot of respect for Benjamin Fry, a Psychotherapist in London. Well known for being on 'Spendaholics' - I have attended a few of his seminars which brings more insight into how the body and mind work together. He runs a clinic in Chelsea, London. I've travelled extensively and lived in many places, including Japan, China, Canada and New Zealand. My favourite will always be Japan. Never have I known a culture so engrained with love and respect for each other. Another string to my bow is making appearances in tv shows and films as an extra or now known as supporting artist. Recent appearances include Coronation St and Hollyoaks. I have to say it's alot of fun and a welcome relief from the day to day stresses of life.
